The Taking of Deborah Logan director Adam Robitel’s Escape Room from recently moved up its release date from February 1 to January 4, 2019. And today we have the film’s trailer and poster for you to check out!

On its new date, Escape Room will go up against LD Entertainment’s upcoming remake of Adrian Lyne Jacob’s Ladder. Adam Robitel’s Escape Room hits theaters January 4th.

[Trailer] ‘Deborah Logan’ Director Adam Robitel’s ‘Escape Room’ Looks Like a Next Level ‘Saw’ Movie

You want original horror? How about one that turns the escape room craze into a full-blown horror movie?

Adam Robitel, the director of the bone-chilling The Taking of Deborah Logan as well as Insidious: The Last Key, returns next year with Escape Room, locking people into theaters on January 4, 2019.

The trailer made its debut last night in front of Halloween and wowed the audience. The film is about six strangers who find themselves in circumstances beyond their control and must use their wits to survive. It looks like the terror of SAW combined with the fun of your local escape room. The set pieces are incredible and, in addition to having an awesome up-and-coming director, the cast includes Logan Miller from Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, Deborah Ann Woll from “True Blood” and Mother’s Day, and even Tucker and Dale vs. Evil’s Tyler Labine.

Horror movie release dates keep on shuffling as today we word via Deadline reports Sony has just moved The Taking of Deborah Logan director Adam Robitel’s Escape Room from February 1 to January 4.

Escape Room (aka The Maze) is a psychological thriller about six strangers who find themselves in circumstances beyond their control and must use their wits to survive.

Directed by Robitel from a script by Bragi F. Schut and Maria Melnik, the film stars Logan Miller, Deborah Ann Woll, Taylor Russell, Tyler Labine, Jay Ellis, and Nik Dodani.

‘Deborah Logan’ Director Adam Robitel’s ‘Escape Room’ Gets an Earlier 2019 Release Date

Adam Robitel, the director of the bone-chilling The Taking of Deborah Logan as well as Insidious: The Last Key, returns next year with Escape Room, which just got a new date.

Planned for February 1, 2019, Sony just bumped Escape Room up to January 4, 2019.

The psychological thriller, formerly known as The Maze, is about six strangers who find themselves in circumstances beyond their control and must use their wits to survive.

Logan Miller, Deborah Ann Woll, Taylor Russell, Tyler Labine, Jay Ellis and Nik Dodan star.

No Escape Room – USA, 2018

No Escape Room is a 2018 American paranormal horror feature film starring Mark Ghanimé, Jeni Ross, Brianna Barnes, Hamza Haq and Dennis Andres.

When a single father Michael (Mark Ghanimé) stumbles across an escape room attraction built into an old manor, he reckons it’s the perfect activity to help him bond with his teenage daughter Karen (Jeni Ross). Grouped with two escape room veterans, they find themselves solving elaborate puzzles in the antiquated setting.

 

The group’s initial fun quickly turns to anxiety, and from anxiety to outright fear as they realise that nothing is what it seems and they’re no longer playing a simple game. A supernatural spirit is out for vengeance, and determined to claim their lives as penance for its tortured past. Will they be able to escape in time or will their souls be trapped forever?

No Escape Room is distributed by MarVista Entertainment and will premiere on Syfy on October 6, 2018.
