The Original Shark Used in Universal’s ‘Jaws’ Ride Can Now Be Found in a Staten Island Restaurant

If you love Jaws (and who the hell doesn’t?!) and you ever find yourself in Staten Island, be sure to make a pit stop at the restaurant 494 Chicken, located on 3785 Victory Blvd. As reported by SiLive.com this week, 494 Chicken is the unlikely current resting place for the original shark prop that was used for Universal’s now-defunct Jaws ride back in 1990!

The 13-foot replica of the movie’s shark now hangs high above a set of tables in the restaurant, making it a desired seating location for the fans who will surely be coming through.

Here’s Your First Look at the STRANGER THINGS Haunted House Coming to Halloween Horror Nights

Fans were disappointed to hear that Stranger Things Season 3 won’t be arriving in time for Halloween (like the first 2 seasons); rather, the next chapter in Netflix’s megahit horror/sci-fi series will land at the streaming giant sometime during the Summer of 2019. Still, fans of Hawkins, Indiana, can get their Stranger Things fix this Fall; Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights is featuring a new haunted house certain to send attendees into the blackest pits of The Upside Down!

You can read the full scoop in today’s press release below, followed by a sneak-peek of what awaits in a video at the bottom of the article. Enjoy!

Netflix’s Sci-Fi Thriller Comes to Life at Halloween Horror Nights Events in Orlando, Hollywood and Singapore Beginning in September:

Today, Universal Studios reveals first look images from the “Stranger Things” haunted houses coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2018.

For the first time ever, Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Singapore are partnering with Netflix to bring “Stranger Things” to life at their Halloween Horror Nights events. Each park will feature its very own maze that will give guests the chance to brave the Upside Down and encounter iconic scenes, characters and environments from season one of the critically-acclaimed series.

The image [featured] showcase one of the eerily-authentic environments guests will encounter at Halloween Horror Nights 2018 – in addition to the Byers’ living room adorned with an erratic display of flashing Christmas lights, others include Hawkins National Laboratory in the Upside Down, Will’s makeshift fort called Castle Byers and more.

Halloween Horror Nights begins Friday, September 14 in Orlando and Hollywood, and on Thursday, September 27 in Singapore. Tickets and vacation packages are on sale now.
